Attorney Profile

Barbara has been practicing civil law for ten years. Two-and-a-half years employment with the Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance, Inc. (GBLA) exposed her heavily to family law, specifically in the areas of domestic violence and child custody matters. Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance, Inc. (legal aid) also introduced her to the creation of, and assistance with, community service non-profit corporations. Her work in private law firms has given her extensive experience in civil procedure and research. Barbara currently applies the skills she has attained to a practice with a focus on the issues that most directly affect families in our community - family law and guardianships. She also provides minors' counsel services in the family courts.
